Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Sgt. Robbie Grimes arrested Justin Helton age 22 of Old State Road, London on Saturday evening November 28, 2015 at approximately 6:49 PM.
The arrest occurred off East Campground Road, approximately 7 miles south of London after Sgt. Grimes responded to the residence with Social Services to investigate an unrelated incident.
When officials arrived at the residence this subject opened a door to the residence, and Sgt. Grimes detected a very strong odor of marijuana being smoked from within the residence.This subject stated that he had been smoking marijuana.
Inside the residence Sgt. Grimes located this subject's three month old son, his 17-year-old sister and his 14-year-old cousin.
Justin Helton was charged with Wanton Endangerment – second-degree and Public Intoxication – controlled substances and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
