Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Shawn Jackson along with Constable Chris Webb arrested Jonathan Proffitt age 24 of Haley Ridge Rd., London early Friday morning December 4, 2015 at approximately 12:41 AM.
The arrest occurred off South Laurel Rd., approximately 5 miles south of London after this subject was determined to be in contact with a female subject who was the petitioner on a domestic violence order.
Jonathan Proffitt was charged with violation of a Kentucky EPO/DVO. In addition, this subject was charged on three outstanding bench warrants.
Also this subject was charged with giving an officer a false name, possession of a controlled substance first-degree first offense and possession of drug paraphernalia.
This subject was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
