Criminal Mischief arrest in Laurel County



Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Detective Kevin Berry arrested David Wolfenbarger age 22 of Paris, Ky on Friday afternoon December 4, 2015 at approximately 12:08 PM.

The arrest occurred off Chance Road off Mary Dell Road approximately 10 miles east of London after deputies were dispatched to a complaint that a male subject armed with a knife was at a rehab facility off East KY 80 and was cutting tires in the parking lot.

While deputies were enroute to the scene, they were advised that the male subject had fled the scene. It was determined that the male subject had made a phone call from off Chance Road, and deputies were able to locate this subject there and detained him without incident.

David Wolfenbarger was charged with disorderly conduct – second degree; criminal mischief – second degree; and wanton endangerment – second degree. Apparently this subject is currently charged with felonies in Laurel County and had been released from jail on a furlough to attend a treatment center.

While on furlough, this subject allegedly slashed tires in the parking lot while also placing individuals there in danger in the parking lot.

David Wolfenbarger was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.

Assisting on the complaint was: Deputy John Inman, Deputy Shawn Boroviak, Bailiff Cody Faulconer, and Constable Chris Webb.
