(LONDON, KY.) – Kentucky State Police Detectives are investigating the discovery of two bodies located at a residence on Burchell Road in Clay County on Wednesday, December 09, 2015 at approximately 12:49 PM.
The bodies were located by Clay County Deputies after they had received a call of a deceased male subject outside his residence.
Upon arrival, KSP Detectives discovered Leon Jackson, 64, and Shirley F. Jackson, 65, both of Manchester, KY deceased of apparent gunshot wounds. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene by the Clay County Coroner Danny Finley.
The victims’ bodies will be transported to the State Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.
Foul play is suspected. No arrest has been made at this time
The investigation is continuing by KSP Detective Mike King. He was assisted at the scene by Troopers from Post 11, Clay County Sheriff’s Office, Clay County Coroner’s Office and Clay County EMS
