KSP - Serious Injury Crash in McCreary County

(Pine Knott, KY) - On Sunday December 27th 2015 around 7 P.M. Officer Chris McQueen with KSP Vehicle Enforcement responded to commercial vehicle accident located on KY 92 near the Holly Hill community of McCreary County Kentucky.

Upon arrival and though investigation officer McQueen found a 2008 Kenworth being operated by 38 year old Marty L. Webb of Oneida had been traveling east on KY 92 when he lost control leaving the roadway striking a tree.

Webb along with two passengers 38 year old Paul Roydon of Oneida Tennessee, and 33 year old April Jeffers of Oneida Tennessee were all air lifted from the scene and transported to the University of Tennessee Hospital in critical condition.

KY 92 was shut down for nearly six hours while officers investigated the crash and clean-up crews worked to clean debris from the roadway.

Drugs and alcohol are not known at this time and seat belts were not being used at the time of the collision.
