Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Shawn Jackson along with Deputy Tommy Houston arrested Kimberly Wilder, age 50, of Wise Owl Rd., Keavy, on Sunday night, January 3, 2016, at approximately 11:40 PM.
The arrest occurred in a parking lot outside Laurel County Detention Center after deputies received a complaint that a female subject was in the lobby of the detention center attempting to bond a family member out of jail and had a strong odor of alcoholic beverages emitting from her.
When deputies arrived, they located this subject getting into a vehicle in a parking lot outside the jail. Deputies conducted an investigation and determined that this subject was under the influence. In addition, this subject had an open can of beer drinking it.
Kimberly Wilder was charged with possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle prohibited, and alcohol intoxication in a public place and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
