Dispute leads to arrests of two individuals on Wise Owl Road - Laurel County

Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Tommy Houston along with Deputy Shawn Jackson arrested two individuals early Sunday morning, January 3, 2016, at approximately 3:34 AM.

The arrest occurred off Baker Ridge Road, approximately 10 miles south of London after deputies were dispatched to a complaint of a verbal dispute at a residence on Wise Owl road.

Deputies conducted an investigation there, and then traveled to a residence on Baker Ridge Road attempting to resolve the dispute. When deputies left the scene, parties were advised to separate and the parties agreed.

Within minutes of deputies leaving the scene, they were again called back to the residence on Baker Ridge Road where they encountered two individuals outside yelling, cursing, and creating a disturbance outside of the residence.

Both individuals were also determined to be under the influence. Arrested was Dustin Napier, age 25, of Wise Owl road, Keavy, charged with disorderly conduct – second-degree and public intoxication – controlled substances.

Also arrested was Daven Wilder, age 23, of Baker Ridge Rd., Keavy, charged with disorderly conduct – second-degree and alcohol intoxication in a public place. Both individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
