LSO needs help identifying two theft subjects

Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Kyle Gray is investigating the theft of a purse stolen from a vehicle parked in a driveway off Paul Marcum Road, approximately 4 miles south of London just after midnight on December 31, 2015.

Apparently, the victim came home at approximately 12:30 AM. Someone broke into her car approximately 21 minutes later and used a debit card stolen from the victim's purse to make a purchase at the service station in Lily on US 25.

Later, the debit card which had been stolen, was used at Walmart near Corbin in southern Laurel County. Total value used on the debit card was $217.

Thanks to Walmart for their cooperation, surveillance photos from Walmart show two male subjects using the stolen debit card, and exiting the Walmart store.

Anyone who knows either or both of the individuals pictured is asked to contact the Laurel County Sheriff's office at 606-864-6600 or 606-878-7000. Information will be kept strictly confidential.

Pictured are the two individuals apparently involved. Investigation is continuing.
