Attempted Armed Robbery by a Masked Bandit - Laurel, County

Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Detective Charlie Loomis is investigating an attempted armed robbery which occurred at Saddlebrook Dollar Store on Ky 192 just west of London on Thursday night January 14, 2016 at approximately 9:40 PM.

The investigating detective reports that apparently a lone male subject entered the store going straight to the cashiers desk where some customers were checking out, and behind the counter was the assistant manager and a clerk.
