Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Sgt. Robbie Grimes arrested John Rich age 40 of Middlesboro, Ky on Thursday evening January 14, 2016 at approximately 4:58 PM.
The arrest occurred on Millstone Lane approximately 1/2 mile south of London after Sgt. Grimes was dispatched to a complaint of a male subject wandering around a trailer park there.
When Sgt. Grimes arrived and located this subject he determined that he was under the influence of drugs – this subject stated he had taken some bad drugs a couple days prior.
John Rich was charged with public intoxication – controlled substances. In addition, this subject was charged on a Bell County bench warrant of arrest for failure to appear in court regarding a charge of public intoxication – controlled substances. This subject was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
