Domestic complaint leads to arrest on Robinson Creek Road in Laurel County

Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Sgt. Robbie Grimes arrested Joanne Miracle, age 31, of Robinson Creek Rd., Lily, on Friday, night January 15, 2016, at approximately 8:16 PM.

The arrest occurred off Robinson Creek Road, approximately 7 miles south of London after deputies were dispatched to a domestic assault complaint there.

When deputies arrived at the scene and conducted an investigation, they determined that this subject was under the influence of drugs. In addition, they learned that this subject had allegedly physically assaulted a 16-year-old niece who also lived in the residence.

When this subject's mother attempted to break up the fight, she too was allegedly assaulted. Joanne Miracle was charged with assault – fourth degree – domestic violence; assault – fourth degree – child abuse; and public intoxication – controlled substances and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
