Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Tommy Houston arrested Matthew Faulkner, age 28, of Stone Cold Road, Gray, Kentucky, early Sunday morning, January 17, 2016, at approximately 2:23 AM.
The arrest occurred off Adams Road, approximately 10 miles south of London after Deputy Houston was dispatched to a complaint that a male subject was in the front lobby of a hotel there and had been asked twice to leave and refused to do so.
When Deputy Houston arrived at the scene, he detected a strong odor of alcoholic beverages emitting from this subject and after conducting an investigation, determined that he was under the influence.
Matthew Faulkner was charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center. Photo attached is courtesy of the Laurel County Detention Center.
