Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Kyle Gray along with Court Security Officer Roy Ball arrested Amber Brandenburg age 29 of Old Crab Orchard Rd., London on Tuesday morning January 19, 2016 at approximately 11:40 AM.
The arrest occurred in the parking lot near the Laurel Judicial Center after deputies investigated a subject who had been in Laurel District Court and appeared to be under the influence, left the judicial center and was attempting to get into her vehicle in the driver's seat apparently to leave.
An investigation was conducted and this subject was determined to be under the influence – this subject admitted taking Suboxone and marijuana earlier.
Amber Brandenburg was charged with public intoxication – controlled substances and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
