Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Sgt. Larry Parrott arrested Chastity Blevins age 40 of Coldiron, Ky. early Thursday morning January 28, 2016 at approximately 4:13 AM.
Blevins was arrested after Laurel 911 Communications Ctr. dispatched Sgt. Parrott to a complaint of a subject walking northbound on I-75 at mile marker 31, approximately 6 miles south of London.
When Sgt. Parrott arrived at the scene be located this individual walking northbound and hitchhiking. Sgt. Parrott conducted an investigation determining that this subject was under the influence of drugs.
This subject stated she had taken Neurontin earlier.
This subject had a prescription bottle filled for 90 tablets on January 14, 2016 that only contained 37 tablets.
Chastity Blevins was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
