(LONDON, KY.) – On Tuesday, February 02, 2016, at approximately 2:30 PM, Kentucky State Police Post 11, London received a call from the McCreary County EMS about an unresponsive five (5) month old child at a residence on Johns Road in the Pine Knot community of McCreary County.
Upon arrival, KSP Detective Billy Correll learned through an investigation that the five (5) month old infant’s father had called 911 after finding his child unresponsive inside his residence.
The infant was transported to Pioneer Hospital in Scott County Tennessee, where he was pronounced deceased upon arrival.The cause of death has not been determined at this time, no foul play is suspected. An autopsy has been scheduled for today.
KSP Detective Billy Correll is continuing the investigation. He was assisted at the scene by Troopers from Post 11 and the McCreary County EMS.
