Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Sgt. Larry Parrott arrested Rebecca Peters, age 41, of Ravenwood View, London, early Saturday morning, February 6, 2016, at approximately 12:39 AM.
The arrest occurred on Waterworks Road approximately 1 mile west of London as Sgt. Parrott responded to an unrelated complaint on Waterworks Road when he encountered this subject walking in the middle-of-the-road.
Sgt. Parrott stated in his arrest report that this subject staggered in front of his patrol car. Upon exiting his patrol car, Sgt. Parrott detected a strong odor of alcoholic beverages emitting from this subject and conducted an investigation determining that this subject was under the influence.
Rebecca Peters was charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place third offense and lodged her in the Laurel County Detention Center.
