(Harlan, Ky.) – On February 1, 2016 Kentucky State Police, Post 10 Harlan received three troopers and one sergeant new to our post.
Danny Caudill, from Baxter Ky, graduated from Cumberland High School in 1993 and a 2005 graduate of EKU. He is married to Carrissa Caudill and they have two children. Danny graduated from KSP class # 86 on February 25, 2008 and assigned to Post 9 Pikeville. In August of 2009 Tpr. Caudill transferred to Post 10 and worked Harlan County as a road trooper. On July 16, 2015 Danny was promoted to sergeant and transferred to Post 6 Dry ridge. Sgt. Caudill transferred back home to Post 10 Harlan on February 1, 2016.
Justin Barton, from Middlesboro Ky, graduated from Bell County High School in 2003. He is married to Heather Barton and they have one child. Tpr. Barton graduated from KSP class # 93 on October 28, 2015 and assigned to Post 13 Hazard. On February 1, 2016 Tpr. Barton transferred to Post 10 Harlan and is assigned to work Harlan County.
Jacob Spurlock, from Cawood Ky, graduated from Harlan County High School in 2011. He is married to Christina Spurlock and they have one child. Tpr. Spurlock graduated from KSP class # 92 on January 16, 2015 and assigned to Post 9 Pikeville. On February 1, 2016 Tpr. Spurlock transferred to Post 10 Harlan and is assigned to work Harlan County.
Jonathon Corey, from Bush Ky, graduated from North Laurel High School in 2010. Tpr. Corey graduated from KSP class # 92 on January 16, 2015 and assigned to Post 9 Pikeville. On February 1, 2016 Tpr. Corey transferred to Post 10 Harlan and is assigned to work Knox County.
