LONDON, KY – On Thursday, February 11, 2016, at approximately 5:07 AM, Kentucky State Police Post 11, London was notified of a residential structure fire with a fatality on East HWY 577 in Clay County.
KSP Arson Investigator, Detective Brian Lewis along with Detective Mike King arrived on the scene and discovered a deceased body inside the residence.
The victim’s identity and cause of the fire has not been determined at this time, however foul play is not suspected. An autopsy has been scheduled for tomorrow in Frankfort.
KSP Post 11 Arson Investigator Detective Brian Lewis is in charge of the investigation. He was assisted at the scene by Troopers from Post 11 and the Burning Springs Fire Department.
