Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Brandon Broughton along with Deputy Kyle Gray arrested Jeremy Centers age 40 of North Dividing Ridge Rd., Sadieville, Ky on Monday night February 15, 2016 at approximately 8 PM.
The arrest occurred at Walmart near Corbin in southern Laurel County after Walmart's loss prevention team detained this subject.
When deputies arrived at the scene and conducted an investigation they learned that this subject had allegedly been observed concealing items in a store backpack and also putting stolen clothes on in the changing room there at Walmart. Items taken included PlayStation accessories, jeans, a camera bag, men's socks, and anti-perspirant with the total value of the theft being over $125.
In addition, this subject was determined to be wanted on a Scott County Circuit Court bench warrant of arrest charging probation violation for a felony offense.
Also this subject was charged on a Laurel County bench warrant of arrest to revoke bond on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence.
This subject was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
