Arrest & and numerous traffic violations after "Hit and Run" crash in Laurel County


Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Kyle Gray arrested Tony Rednour age 34 off East Hwy. 552, Lily on Saturday night February 20, 2016 at approximately 8:45 PM.

The arrest occurred on Ky 552, approximately 6 miles south of London after this subject was allegedly driving a red Ford focus involved in a non-injury traffic crash near the Lily landfill causing property damage at the entrance to the landfill, and left the scene of the crash.

Deputy Gray located this subject and conducted an investigation determining that he was the driver of the vehicle.

Tony Rednour was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center charged with leaving the scene of an accident; operating on suspended or revoked operator's license; and failure of non owner operator to maintain required insurance and numerous other traffic violations. The subject was also charged on a Knox County bench warrant of arrest for failure to appear in court regarding a charge of operating on suspended or revoked operator's license and other traffic violations.
