LONDON, KY. – Kentucky State Police Post 11, London was notified of the theft of a skid-steer loader from the Wilson Equipment Company in Corbin, on Wednesday, February 24, 2016.

Upon arrival, Trooper Millard Root learned through investigation that on Tuesday, February 23, 2016, a male subject brought a counterfeit cashier’s check in the amount of $28,750.00 to the Wilson Equipment Company and purchased a 2013 Case SR220 skid-steer valued at $30,000.00.

The next day the owner of the equipment company in Corbin was contacted by a construction company in Toledo, Ohio, and informed that three suspicious men attempted to sell them a skid-steer at a very low price.
