(Manchester, KY) Thursday February 26, 2016, 9:50 PM - Clay County High School students and staff are mourning the death of one of their own this weekend. On Thursday afternoon February 25, 2016 CCHS senior Christopher Glenn Hubbard, age 17 died as the result of a traffic crash on the Hwy. 192 bypass in London near the Somerset Community College.
Cameron Asher, a second passenger in the vehicle was flown out by helicopter and is currently in ICU at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.

Christopher Glenn Hubbard, age 17 departed this life on Thursday, February 25, 2016 in London, Kentucky. He was born on Thursday, July 16, 1998 in Corbin, Kentucky to Glenn Hubbard and Angela Hyden Hubbard. He was a Senior at the Clay County High School and a member of the Baptist church.
He leaves to mourn his passing his father: Glenn Hubbard of Manchester, his mother: Angela Hubbard of London, his maternal grandparents: Thomas and Noma Hyden, his paternal grandmother: Mae Hubbard, his aunts: Lisa Kilburn and Rachel Barger, his uncles: Bobby Hubbard and Danny Hubbard, and a special friend: Elizabeth Sparks.
He is preceded in death by his uncle: Delbert Hubbard and his aunt: Sue Hubbard.
Funeral Services for Christopher Glenn Hubbard will be conducted on Sunday, February 28, at 2 PM at the Horse Creek Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Hensley Cemetery in the Oneida Community.
Visitation will be held on Saturday evening after 6 PM at the Horse Creek Baptist Church.
