Missing Whitley County man / Golden Alert issued - Vehicle found unattended

Whitley County, KY - A Golden Alert has been issued in an attempt to locate Joel S. Moses, 48, of the Brush Arbor community. Around 1:50 p.m. Monday, March 7, 2016, deputies were notified that the family of Moses were concerned about his safety.

His vehicle was found unattended along Hwy 25 in the Pleasant View community. Moses requires medication. He was last seen wearing blue or black jeans, a t-shirt and tennis shoes.

He is described as being 5’9″ tall, around 165 pounds in weight, with blue eyes and brown hair. Moses has tattoos (a “full sleeve”) on his right arm and the tattoo of a panther on his upper left arm.

Williamsburg Fire and Rescue, Woodbine Search and Rescue, Emlyn and Please View volunteer fire departments, Knott County Rough Terrain Rescue, Bloodhound Search and Rescue of Tennessee, Whitley Co. Emergency Management Director Danny Moses and Kentucky Emergency Management Regional Director Jerry Rains are continuing search efforts.

The Williamsburg Police Department and Whitley Co. E911 are assisting in the investigation.
