Fugitive Arrest/ Laurel County


(LONDON, KY.) – On Monday, March 07, 2016, at approximately 10:00 PM, Trooper Brandon Creekmore arrested a male subject of Corbin, KY, on multiple charges after searching for him for several days.

Arrested was Justin D. Bell, 26.  The arrest occurred at Wal-Mart located in Corbin, KY, after Trooper Creekmore located a stolen Cadillac which Bell had last been seen driving. Multiple Troopers arrived and established a perimeter around the store and waited for Bell to exit. Bell was arrested without incident. After the arrest, Troopers discovered Bell was in possession of suspected methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and a stolen wallet.

Bell was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center and charged with Being a Fugitive, Receiving Stolen Property under $10,000.00, Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Trooper Creekmore is continuing the investigation and was assisted at the scene by Troopers from Post 11.
