Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Capt. Chuck Johnson along with Lieut. Greg Poynter, Sgt. Robbie Grimes, and Sgt. Brett Reeves arrested a female subject of Willie Green Rd., London, on Tuesday afternoon, March 8, 2016, at approximately 2:40 PM.
Arrested was Zinab Brown, age 27. The arrest occurred off London Avenue, approximately 10 miles south of London after deputies executed a writ of possession at a residence there. The property owner was at the residence changing the locks on the residence when this subject showed up apparently to help her sister get her belongings from the residence.
While at the residence, this subject got into a verbal argument with the property owner and the property owner requested that she leave the property but she refused. Deputies at the scene advised her that she had to leave the property, however she told deputies that she would not. Numerous other warnings were given however this subject refused to leave the residence.
Zinab Brown was charged with criminal trespassing – third-degree and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center. Photo attached is courtesy of the Laurel County Detention Center.
