LSO make drug arrest on American Greeting Card Road


Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy John Inman arrested a male subject of Cobblestone Way, Corbin, on Wednesday afternoon, March 9, 2016, at approximately 2:03 PM.

Arrested was Timothy Storms, age 29.  The arrest occurred off American Greeting Card Road, approximately 12 miles south of London after Deputy Inman was dispatched to a complaint of a suspicious male subject at apartments there.

When Deputy Inman arrived at the scene to conduct an investigation, one of the two male subjects fled on foot and following a short foot chase was stopped where the investigation was completed and it was determined that the subject was wanted on an outstanding warrant of arrest. In addition, the subject was found in possession of a metal container that had Suboxone in it and scales.

Timothy Storms was charged with fleeing or evading police – first-degree – on foot; possession of a controlled substance; and possession of drug paraphernalia. In addition, this subject was charged on a bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court.

Assisting on the investigation were Capt. Chuck Johnson and Sgt. Brett Reeves.
