KSP Charges Jessamine County Man with Child Sexual Exploitation Offenses


(Nicholasville, Ky.)— On March 10, 2016, at approximately 8:26 p.m., the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch, arrested a Jessamine County man for charges related to possession and distribution of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor.

Arrested was Jordan Combs, age 26.

Mr. Combs was arrested as the result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation. The Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch began the investigation after discovering the suspect sharing images of child sexual exploitation online, using a popular chat service.

The investigation resulted in the execution of a search warrant at Mr. Combs’ residence on March 10, 2016. Equipment used to facilitate the crime was seized and taken to KSP’s forensic laboratory for examination; the investigation is ongoing.

Mr. Combs is currently charged with 20 counts of possession and one count of distribution of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor.

Mr. Combs was arrested and lodged at the Jessamine County Detention Center. Each charge is a Class-D Felony punishable 1-5 years in prison.
