Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Sgt. Larry Parrott along with Deputy Travis Napier arrested a female subject of Lakeside Rd., Corbin, on Friday night, March 11, 2016, at approximately 11:11 PM.
Arrested was Jamie Medlin, age 53. The arrest occurred off Lakeside Road, approximately 11 miles south of London after deputies were dispatched to a domestic dispute allegedly involving a female armed with a handgun there.
When deputies arrived at the scene and conducted an investigation, they learned that apparently the couple were involved in an argument when the male subject was struck on the arm causing a cut.
Jamie Medlin was charged with assault – fourth degree – domestic violence and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
