Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Sgt. Larry Parrott arrested a female subject of Robert E Cox Rd., Apartments, Corbin, early Saturday morning, March 12, 2016, at approximately 1 AM.
Arrested was Jade Roberts, age 21. The arrest occurred at Corbin Manor Apartments, approximately 10 miles south of London after deputies were dispatched to a complaint that a subject who had been trespassed from Corbin Manor Apartments was there at the apartments and had allegedly ran from a security guard.
When Sgt. Parrott arrived at the scene, he located this subject behind one of the buildings there, and when this subject saw deputies, she fled and jumped a fence trying to get away. She then hid in the back of a truck and when spotted, fled again, but was caught between a building and fence and arrested without incident.
This subject was determined to be under the influence. Jade Roberts was charged with criminal trespassing – third-degree; public intoxication – controlled substances; and fleeing or evading police – second-degree – on foot.
