Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Deputy Kyle Gray along with Deputy Brandon Broughton arrested Calvin Earl Barger III age 42 Of Barbourville Road, London on Sunday afternoon March 13, 2016 at approximately 3:00 P.M.
The arrest occurred off Barbourville Road approximately 6 miles south of London after deputies were dispatched to a complaint that two residences had been struck by a bullets.
When deputies arrived at the scene and conducted an investigation they learned that apparently this subject had been shooting guns in the side yard into a target.
Apparently one bullet had struck a residence nearby hitting the roof of the residence. Another bullet struck a residence traveling through an exterior wall into the residence – the bullet was located on the floor of the bathroom. A female subject and another resident of that home had just left the bathroom area when the bullet traveled into the bathroom.
Calvin Earl Barger III was charged with wanton endangerment – first-degree; and criminal mischief – second-degree.
This subject was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
