Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy John Inman arrested a female subject of Kentucky Holllow Rd., East Bernstadt, on Tuesday morning, March 15, 2016, at approximately 7:29 AM.
Arrested was Teresa L. Smith, age 42. The arrest occurred off Kentucky Hollow Road approximately 2 miles north of London after Deputy Inman was dispatched to a domestic disturbance there. While en route to the scene, Deputy Inman was advised that this subject was threatening her husband and a son with a knife.
Upon arrival, Deputy Inman conducted an investigation and learned that this subject had allegedly assaulted her husband – visible injuries were found on the victim's face.
Teresa Smith was charged with assault – fourth degree – domestic violence and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center. Photo attached is courtesy of the Laurel County Detention Center.
