Reported stolen ATV recovered by LSO Deputies

Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Detective Kevin Berry along with Deputy John Inman arrested two individuals on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at approximately 2:27 PM.

The arrests occurred after deputies received information on Tuesday on the whereabouts of a reported stolen 2002 blue colored Yamaha Wolverine ATV valued at approx. $3,000 which had been reported to Laurel Sheriff's Sgt. Josh Gaylor on Monday morning as stolen this past weekend from a residence on Allen Road in northern Laurel County.

When deputies located the reported stolen ATV, it was found in a garage and the body had been painted black and the motor painted red. A male subject and a female subject have been arrested. The female subject told her parents and other persons that if anyone asked, that she had brought the ATV to the residence and that she had purchased it. Allegedly, the female subject's boyfriend brought the ATV to the female subject.

The male subject arrested has been identified as Dustin Patterson age 22 of West Hwy 1376, East Bernstadt - Charged with receiving stolen property under $10,000, tampering with physical evidence and tampering with a witness. This subject was already incarcerated at the Laurel County Detention center on an unrelated charge and remains lodged.

The female subject who is allegedly the girlfriend of Dustin Patterson drove to the Laurel County Detention Center to visit her boyfriend when deputies arrested her in the parking lot of the jail driving a black colored Kia Spectra. She was driving on DUI suspended license.

Arrested was Danielle bowling age 34 0f Walter Eversole Road, East Bernstadt - Charged with receiving stolen property under $10,000, tampering with physical evidence, tampering with a witness, driving on DUI suspended license – first offense, failure of non-owner operator to maintain required insurance – first offense and other traffic violations.

In addition, this subject was charged on a Laurel County bench warrant of arrest for failure to comply with drug screening with bond being revoked regarding charges of possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – methamphetamine; possession of drug paraphernalia; and possession of a controlled substance – third-degree.

Danielle Bowling was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
