Second Laurel County teen reported missing


Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Lieut. Greg Poynter is investigating a missing persons case reported to him that a 16-year-old female juvenile possibly had ran away from home from her residence on County Farm Road, just west of the city limits of London.

Grandparents noted she was at home on Monday night, March 28, 2016, however on Tuesday morning was missing from the residence along with some of her clothes and shoes.

It is believed that this 16-year-old girl may have left with an 18-year-old male subject from Lexington driving a silver colored Lincoln car.

The missing, possible runaway 16-year-old female juvenile is identified as Kaila Dawn Reams, age 16, a white female, brown hair below the shoulder length, hazel eyes, 5'5" tall, 125 pounds – medium build, and fair complexion. Unknown clothing description at this point.

If anyone has any information about this missing 16-year-old female or her whereabouts, they are asked to contact the Laurel County Sheriff's office at 606-864-6600 or 606-878-7000 – information will be strictly confidential.

Her concerned family anxiously await information on her whereabouts. Lieut. Greg Poynter continues to investigate.
