Traffic stop leads to FTA warrant arrest - Laurel County

Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Sgt. Larry Parrott arrested a male subject of Tuttle Rd., London, early Wednesday morning, March 30, 2016, after conducting a traffic stop on a blue colored Ford F150 that apparently ran a stop sign at the intersection of Fariston Road and South Laurel Road causing Sgt Parrott to break hard to avoid a collision.

Arrested was Kevin Wilson, age 32.  During the traffic stop, Sgt. Parrott learned that this subject was wanted on a Laurel County bench warrant of arrest.

Kevin Wilson was charged with failure to appear in court regarding charges of fleeing or evading police – second degree – on foot and resisting arrest.

In addition, this subject was cited for reckless driving and other traffic violations and assigned a court date on the traffic charges.

Kevin Wilson was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center. Deputy Keith Dinsmore assisted.
