London, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Court Security Officer Paige Van Hook along with Court Security Officer Roy Ball, Court Security Officer Ethan Lewis, Court Security Officer Jamie Etherton, and Court Security Officer Paul Collins made an arrest at the Judicial Center security checkpoint on Thursday afternoon March 31, 2016 at approximately 1:05 PM.
Arrested was Angela Scott age 29 of Blue Sky Lane, London, KY.
The arrest occurred at the Laurel County Judicial Center at the security checkpoint after this subject attempted to enter the courthouse without first stopping at the security checkpoint metal detectors refusing to comply with rules of entering the courthouse, and charged toward another subject already in custody apparently trying to interfere with the arrest.
Court security officers tried to stop this subject at which time this subject attempted to hit one of the court security officers.
Angela Scott was charged with Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
