Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Deputy Kyle Gray arrested Alton Slusher age 65 of Harts Young Road apartments, Corbin on Wednesday night April 6, 2016 at approximately 9:36 PM.
The arrest occurred on Highway 363 approximately 5 miles south of London after Deputy Gray was dispatched to investigate a non-injury traffic crash where this subject was allegedly the driver of the vehicle.
Deputy Gray conducted an investigation and determined that this driver was under the influence – the driver admitted to taking their Neurotin and hydrocodone and other pills earlier.
Alton Slusher was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence – first offense; careless driving; no operator's license; and other traffic violations and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center. Photo attached is courtesy of the Laurel County Detention Center.
