London, KY - On Sunday, April 3rd, London Police responded to a complaint of a male and female fighting while walking on South Laurel Road.
Through investigation, Laura E. Finley, 42, of East 4th Street, was arrested. Officers Greg Turner and Drew Wilson located Finley at Wendy’s on South Laurel Road.
She appeared to be manifestly under the influence of an unknown substance, had constricted pupils, was unsteady on her feet and had difficulty speaking.
Upon receiving consent to search Finley, two syringes were found, one of which was loaded with a clear gel liquid. Also located was a small purple container with marijuana inside. Finley stated that Suboxone was inside of the syringe.
Finley was arrested and charged with third-degree possession of a controlled substance, public intoxication of a controlled substance excluding alcohol, buying or possessing drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana.
She was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
