Volatile substance abuse arrest in Laurel County

Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy John Inman arrested a female subject of Pine Top Rd., London, on Tuesday afternoon, April 12, 2016, at approximately 2:05 PM.

The arrest occurred off Pine Top Road approximately 3 miles west of London after Deputy Inman was dispatched to a complaint that a subject was passed out on her front porch from inhaling aerosol cans and that possibly a child was inside the residence.

When Deputy Inman arrived at the scene, he located this subject breathing but unresponsive, holding two 12 ounce ultra duster cans.

Deputy Inman radioed for the ambulance service and then he entered the home attempting to locate the child.

At this point, the female subject sprang up to start inhaling more duster. Deputy Inman was told by this subject that the child was home, however, following a search of the residence and through further investigation it was determined that the nine-year-old child was at school.

Deputy Inman also learned that this subject had outstanding warrants of arrest. Tracy House was charged with public intoxication – controlled substances; and volatile substance abuse.

In addition, this subject was charged on three bench warrants of arrest for failure to appear in court and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
