Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Shannon Jones arrested a male subject of Bennett Branch Rd., Barbourville, on Wednesday night, April 13, 2016, at approximately 11 PM.
Arrested was Skyler Wayne Barnett, age 20. The arrest occurred on US Highway 25 E, approximately 10 miles south of London after Deputy Jones conducted an investigation on a subject that had allegedly been observed crushing and snorting a pill.
The subject was determined to be under the influence. During the investigation the subject was also found to have a pair of artificial knuckles in his possession.
Skyler Wayne Barnett was charged with carrying a concealed deadly weapon and public intoxication – controlled substances and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
