Three subjects nabbed by police near Corbin

Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Sgt. Brett Reeves along with Detective James Sizemore and Cpl. Jack Caudill arrested three individuals at Walmart near Corbin in southern Laurel County on Thursday afternoon, April 14, 2016, at approximately 2:09 PM.

The arrest occurred after deputies were dispatched to a complaint of two female subjects apparently intoxicated in the bathroom at Walmart.

When deputies arrived at the scene, they located the two female subjects inside the store and learned that there was a third person in a parked vehicle in the parking lot.

Deputies determined that two of the female subjects were intoxicated, one was a wanted person and one was found in possession of drugs.

Arrested was Gloria Pierce, age 43, of Corbin Manor Apartments, Corbin, charged with public intoxication – controlled substances and a parole violation warrant.

Also arrested was Brandi Hall, age 34, of Browning Acres, Corbin, charged with possession of a controlled substance – second-degree; and possession of a controlled substance/third-degree – this subject had an advil pill bottle in her possession that contained Suboxone and methylphenidate.

A third person arrested was identified as Patricia Gambrel-Martin, age 44, of Lake St., Corbin, charged with public intoxication – controlled substances.

All three individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
