(LONDON, KY.) – On Monday, April 18, 2016, at approximately 9:20 AM, Kentucky State Police Post 11, London was notified of a residential structure fire with a possible fatality on Maiden Bend Spur Road in the Williamsburg community of Whitley County.
Post 11 Detectives and Troopers arrived on the scene and discovered a deceased body inside the residence.
The victim’s identity and cause of the fire have not been determined at this time. An autopsy has been scheduled for tomorrow in Frankfort.
Detective Mark Allen is in charge of the investigation. He is being assisted by KSP Arson Investigator Detective Brian Lewis.
