KSP Conduct Search Warrant in Shelbiana




(Shelbiana, KY) – After a lengthy investigation, Kentucky State Police Post 09 Criminal Interdiction Team successfully seized drugs, money, and firearms from a Shelbiana residence on Thursday, April 28, 2016.

Troopers obtained a search warrant to search the residence of Paul Sneed, 53, of Shelbiana. While conducting a search of the residence, Troopers located and seized a variety of prescription pain medication and cocaine, along with multiple firearms. Additionally, approximately $4200.00 in cash was seized from the home.

Sneed was arrested at the home, and taken to Pike County Detention Center. Sneed was charged with Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. Drug charges against Sneed are pending. This case remains under investigation by Detective Adam Hall, and will be presented to the Pike County Grand Jury.
