Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Deputy Josh Scott arrested two individuals on Hammock Road near Fariston Road, approximately 4 miles south of London after deputies were dispatched to a domestic violence complaint there on Tuesday afternoon May 10, 2016 at approximately 1:38 PM.
While deputies were en route to the scene, apparently the two individuals involved were observed in the front yard of their residence fighting and CSO Paul Collins who was off-duty and was nearby at the Lily volunteer Fire Department Station (where he is a fire fighter), observed the altercation occurring and intervened until deputies arrived on scene.
When deputies arrived at the scene and conducted an investigation they learned that boyfriend – girlfriend had allegedly been involved in a domestic violence dispute.
Deputies arrested Ronnie Osborne age 21 Of Barbourville Rd., London charged with assault – fourth degree – domestic violence and possession of drug paraphernalia. Deputies on scene located both individuals in possession of drug paraphernalia.
Also arrested was Shantelle Sanchez age 32 Of Conley Rd., London charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
The two individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
Assisting at the scene were Sgt. Brett Reeves, Detective Kevin Barry, and Detective James Sizemore.
