UPDATE: Blankety-Blank man one of three arrested by LSO Deputies on Hopper Creek following LSO drug investigation

Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Detective Jason Back along with Detective James Sizemore and Deputy Josh Scott arrested three individuals at a residence off Hopper Creek Road, approximately 9 miles east of London on Wednesday afternoon May 18, 2016 at approximately 1:56 PM.

UPDATE: Daniel Nolan age 36 of Blackwater Church Road, London, KY (Nolan was listed in the original release as being from Blankety-Blank)

The arrests occurred after the detectives and deputies investigated a complaint about alleged drug trafficking at a residence off Hopper Creek Road.

When detectives and deputies arrived at the scene and conducted an investigation they learned that a subject at the residence had traveled to Tennessee to a doctor and had received a prescription for Oxycodone filled on May 12, 2016 for 120 pills.

This subject only had six pills left. He advised they had taken all 114 of the other pills over the past six day period.

Arrested was:

James Crase age 50 of Hopper Creek Road charged with trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense.

Daniel Nolan age 36 of Blankety-Blank (determined to be under the influence) was found at the residence caring for his two-year-old and four-year-old male children, along with his wife who had outstanding active warrants. Nolan was charged with wanton endangerment – second-degree; and public intoxication – controlled substances. 

Jennifer Milligan age 28 of Hopper Creek Roa., London was charged on a Laurel County bench warrant of arrest for failure to appear in court on charges of theft by unlawful taking – shoplifting. In addition, this subject was also charged on a Knox County bench warrant of arrest for failure to appear in court on charges of alcohol intoxication in a public place and contempt of court.

Social services were called to the scene to place the children.

All three individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.

Investigations into illegal drug trafficking in Laurel County will continue!
