(Barbourville, KY.) – On Monday, May 30, 2016, at approximately 8:39 PM, Kentucky State Police Post 10, Harlan was notified of a shooting that had taken place on Bailey Hollow Connector Road in Knox County.
Upon arrival, KSP Detectives determined that two adult females had been shot. Both females were airlifted to the University of Tennessee Medical Center where they are receiving treatment for their injuries.
Upon further investigation Brian L. Bunch, 38, of Barbourville was arrested at his residence on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at approximately 12:30 AM, and charged with two counts of Attempted Homicide. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
The names of the two female victims have not been released at this time.
Detective William Howard is continuing the investigation. He was assisted at the scene by Troopers from Post 10.
