Injury traffic crash on KY-770 in Laurel County

Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Deputy Craig Sutton along with Sgt. Brett Reeves, Deputy Travis Napier, and Cpl. Jack Caudill investigated a two vehicle injury traffic crash which occurred on KY-770, approximately 10 miles south of London on Tuesday afternoon May 31, 2016 at approximately 2:03 PM.

Investigating deputies report that apparently a black colored Pontiac Grand Am pulled out from a side road onto KY-770 in front of the path of a Chevrolet Equinox and collided with it.

The driver of the Pontiac Grand Am stated that a tractor-trailer was passing through and she did not see the vehicle behind it as she pulled out to start in traffic.

The black colored Pontiac Grand Am was driven by Judy Meadors age 56 of Rockholds, KY – possible injuries; one passenger in the vehicle identified as Jonathan Meadors age 24 Williamsburg – no injuries listed

The black colored Chevrolet Equinox was driven by Vinson Pack age 46 of Corbin – possible injuries.

Injured persons were transported to Baptist Health Care Hospital for treatment.

Assisting at the scene was Ambulance Inc. of Laurel County.
