Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Deputy Shawn Jackson arrested Dustin Martin age 25 of Robert E Cox Rd., Apartments, Corbin on Saturday on June 4, 2016 at approximately 11:31 PM.
The arrest occurred off Robert E. Cox Road, approximately 11 miles south of London after deputies were dispatched to a possible domestic altercation there.
When Deputy Jackson arrived at the scene and conducted an investigation he learned that allegedly there had been an altercation between this subject and he is live-in girlfriend. Apparently this subject had grabbed the victim's arm during the altercation leaving a handprint there.
Deputy Jackson also found this subject in possession of several used hypodermic needles that this subject stated he had used to shoot up oxycodone 30's. The subject also had a glass smoking pipe.
Dustin Martin was charged with assault – 4th degree – domestic violence and possession of drug paraphernalia and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
