Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Deputy Kyle Gray arrested Justin David Hampton age 34 of Emma Estates apartments, London on Tuesday evening June 7, 2016 at approximately 5:14 PM.
The arrest occurred on County Farm Road, approximately 2 miles west of London after Deputy Gray conducted a traffic stop on a 93 Chevrolet that nearly struck his patrol car and was observed swerving across the centerline and at one point driving completely on the wrong side of the roadway.
Deputy Gray conducted an investigation and determined that the driver was under the influence – this subject admitted taking Suboxone earlier and had Suboxone in his pocket.
Justin David Hampton was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence – second offense; reckless driving; operating on DUI suspended license; and numerous other traffic violations and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
