LONDON POLICE ARREST MAN IN MCDONALD’S WITH METH


LONDON KY— The London Police Department were notified by 9-1-1 Dispatch of a man passed out on a table at McDonald’s on South U.S. 25.

Through investigation, Joshua D. Mills, 32, of London was arrested Tuesday at 5:30 PM.

Upon the arrival of Ofc. Justin Roby, he noticed the subject passed out inside the restaurant. After waking Mills, he had slurred speech and droopy eye lids. He had a bag in his possession.

With consent to search, Ofc. Roby found a black plastic bottle within his bag, containing a clear plastic bag with 0.2 grams of methamphetamine inside. Mills stated that he currently had a drug problem.

Mills was arrested and charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and public intoxication of a controlled substance (excluding alcohol). He was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
