Two vehicle injury traffic crash - Laurel County

Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Deputy Brandon Broughton investigated a two vehicle injury traffic crash which occurred on West Highway 80 at the intersection with Binder Subdivision Road 4 miles west of London on Friday afternoon June 9, 2016 at approximately 4:35 PM.

The investigating deputy reports that apparently a red Chevrolet Cavalier was pulling from Binder subdivision Road to travel on Highway 80 and pulled in front of the path of a westbound yellow colored Chevrolet Cavalier colliding with it.

The driver of the red Chevrolet Cavalier was identified as a 17 year old male juvenile from London – injured and transported by Ambulance Inc. of Laurel County to St. Joseph Hospital London

The driver of the yellow colored Chevrolet Cavalier was identified as Christopher Whittemore age 19 of Little Arthur Ridge Rd., East Bernstadt – injured and transported by Ambulance Inc. of Laurel County to St. Joseph Hospital London

Assisting at the scene of the crash were officers with Kentucky Fish and Wildlife, Swiss Colony volunteer fire department, and Ambulance Inc. of Laurel County.
